Rotary Club of Plainsboro-North South Brunswick (RCOP-NSB) is pleased to announce its sixth annual fund-raiser – a dance competition amongst the dance schools in New Jersey catering to children and young adults. The event is co-marketed by participating dance schools for a good cause – “The funding of new and ongoing local and community projects“.

This year we are expecting about 250 children and young adults to participate in the event. Some of our social project are:

  • Jaipur Limb Project – Annual camps to provide artificial limbs at low cost to over 3000 needy people, since our inception in 2002-2003
  • Cape Town Library Project – To establish fully functional and sustainable libraries in two schools in the Greater Cape Town area
  • Nepal Rural Education Project – RCOP-N&SB sponsored renovation of the schools in rural area
  • AMMA NANNA Anada Ashramam – RCOP-N&SB works with Rotary Club of Hyderabad, India to provide facilities for homeless elderly
  • Stop The Hunger – Annual STOP HUNGER NOW campaign to pack 50,000 bags of food to feed 300,000 children on February 3, 2017 at the Raritan Valley Community College
  • Stroke Prevention – Regular sessions are conducted to spread Health awareness for the community
  • Thanksgiving Meals Distribution – Packed over 400 food packets for donation to the less fortunate to enjoy Thanksgiving meal
  • Operation Shoebox, Holiday Gift Packing
  • Toy Distribution: Provide toys/gifts to kids
  • NBTHS Swim Team Parents Association
  • RWJ Children’s Hospital in New Brunswick
